Most people have heard of the three strikes and you are out saying but this takes it to a whole new level. In Brandon, Florida a woman received three DUI’s in six days. Yes, in less than one full week she was pulled over for drinking and driving. Jennifer Yi was first arrested by Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies on April 30th on Brandon Boulevard where she refused a Blood Alcohol Content test or urine test. She was released on May 1st on a $500 bond.
She was just a few hours removed from being in jail when she was arrested again on Brandon Boulevard and again refused a BAC or urine test. She was released the next morning on a $500 surety bond. On May 5th, 2015 she was pulled over again a few houses down from her home on Camella Drive for DUI with property damage. She refused a BAC and urine test for the third time in six days. Yi is currently being held without bond. Drinking and driving killed 676 people in the state of Florida in 2013. Many are using the hashtag #DriveSober to increase awareness and alert any authorities of those that might be driving under the influence of intoxicants or alcohol.
It is highly unlikely that with this type of behavior she will ever have the money to enjoy the finer things in life. If she keeps getting into car accidents there is a good chance she will need some type of surgery to fix the mistakes she’s made. It is not uncommon for teeth to be ruined because of alcohol and car accidents. Most don’t think about it, but any type of accident in which a head moves forward at a high rate of speed could slam the teeth onto the steering wheel. Sadly, with this many DUI’s it is likely the case that she is not concerned about her overall look or health. We will see what happens in her future.
